I've changed my training to a 2 week rotation. One week will focus on pure technique, the other on pure conditioning.
My practical fight training and technique practice will consist of 2 hours of boxing and 2 hours of grappling or wrestling each week. If I feel like I can fit in another 2 hour training session in either striking or grappling then I will.
The conditioning week will comprise of one weight lifting session and one bodyweight conditioning session. I'll also try to fit in another few hours of training, focusing on running and aerobic fitness.
Weight lifting
Squats, deadlift, power cleans.
Bench Press, Rows, push press.
Bodyweight conditioning
Still rings routines.
Sprinting and plyometrics.
Fitness
Running and parkour circuits.

Hey BJ been checking out your blog and really enjoy reading your thoughts on training and seeing your progression; its inspiring. I have been training in the discipline of Parkour for a year and a half and 9 months ago I stared freestyle wrestling, BJJ and shooto. I love the wrestling, bjj and parkour but find it hard to fit it all in with life as well as condition and study. Was wondering how do you fit it in and still get enough time to rest?
Hope you achieve your goals.
Peace. Mishaman
And what happened to training for Scotland strongest man under 100 kg, what happened to training for survival in the wildness and becoming a one of the most powerful creatures to walk the planet (your words, not mine)?. You deleted these posts. You're not dedicated, you're a quitter. From time to time you decide to do something, post it here and when you fail (that is, quit) you delete it. So don't try to represent yourself as someone who can achieve everything. Because you're not.
I'm still training in Strongman, my training targets were unrealistic due to my misjudgment and they are being revised. I'm grateful to be able to learn from my mistakes and improve myself. I'll be updating my blog with the details in time to come.
Fighting is part of my survival training. At the moment I don't have the money or the time to travel anywhere with regards to survival training, I wish I did, but it's not possible at the moment. Just because I'm not doing it right now doesn't mean I've given up on it, my training journey has only just begun.
Just because my training focus is constantly shifting doesn't mean I'm giving up on my passions, I can't do everything I want to do at once, I'm limited by physical boundaries, I'm still doing everything I said I would.
You've made closed minded assumptions and your attitude is appalling. If you want to discuss this further I'll be happy to talk to you in person. If you have a problem with me I'll be happy to fight you. Until then stop trying to satisfy your ego by making unpleasant and negative posts. Whoever you are.
Have a glorious day :)
